At no time does APECQ use personal data for commercial purposes. The association does not sell, rent or lend personal information likely to identify its various users to third parties. APECQ establishes the identity of site users through their IP address. This information does not identify an individual, but rather a computer. The use of an IP address is intended to help QPAT evaluate the browsers and service providers used by its visitors.

When you submit a request for information to ACOAQ, for example by using one of the e-mail addresses listed on its Site, ACOAQ may use it in return to follow up on your request.

PROTECTION OF INFORMATION AND PAYMENTS

We use recognized physical, electronic and managerial processes and technologies to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. We cannot guarantee the absolute protection of your activities on our sites or the protection of your personal information against unauthorized access or interception by third parties.

When you make a purchase on one of our sites, you must provide us with payment information, including your name, credit card number and security code (or PayPal account information) and billing addresses. The payment processing company we deal with collects this information on our behalf, uses it exclusively for the purposes of your transaction and retains it only if you choose to do so. To prevent unauthorized access, keep data up to date and ensure that information is used appropriately, APECQ has put in place concrete safeguards and adopted IT and management procedures to protect the information it collects online. Once the information has been received, APECQ makes every effort to ensure its protection.

You authorize ACOSQ, pursuant to the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (RLRQ. C. P-39.1), to collect from third parties, hold or communicate to interested third parties all relevant information that may be required.

By using the QPAT web site, you consent to the collection and use of personal information by QPAT for the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
